A2.1. Advanced systems for controlled drug through topical and transdermal application

Aims at developing a set of advanced bio-based controlled drug release systems for topical and transdermal application, which will result in a comprehensive range of products, such as functional textile structures and bioactive adhesives/pastes for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, as well as the supporting treatment of chronic diseases, such as diabetic foot ulcers.
